In the Oracle bone script (jia gu wen) and the Bronze engraving script (jin wen) are Pictographic Character, there are the picture of a chicken. After the evolution of Chinese language, the Pictophonetic Character is used by “隹” or “鳥(鸟)” as meaning, and use “奚” as a phonetics.
